The service

MonaShort is a streaming service for short dramas and short films, many of them made with AI tools. Some episodes are free; others are available with VIP membership or by unlocking them with credits.

We may add, change or remove features and titles. Titles come from independent creators and may be removed, for example when a creator withdraws a title or it breaks our rules.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it, to use MonaShort. If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to make purchases.
• Keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Give accurate information and keep your email address up to date: we use it to sign you in and to contact you about your account.
• Accounts are personal. Don't sell, share or transfer yours.

VIP membership

Membership lets you watch every paid episode while it's active. Plans renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel. You can turn off auto-renew at any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

If we change the price of your plan, we'll tell you before the new price applies to a renewal, and you can cancel before then.

Credits

Credits are a prepaid balance used only to unlock episodes on MonaShort. They have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged for money. An unlocked episode stays unlocked for as long as the title is available on MonaShort.

Bonus credits from promotions or rewards are spent first and may be withdrawn if the purchase or reward they came with is refunded or reversed.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay, and taxes may apply depending on where you live. Refunds follow our refund policy, which is part of these terms.

Acceptable use

When you use MonaShort, don't:

• copy, download, record, redistribute or publicly show videos, except where the service lets you;
• get around payments, access controls or the protections that secure video streams;
• use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access the service or create accounts;
• abuse promotions, invitations or refunds;
• interfere with the service or with other people's use of it.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules and reverse credits, unlocks or rewards obtained through abuse.

Content and intellectual property

Titles on MonaShort belong to their creators or licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to stream them for private, non-commercial viewing. The MonaShort name, logo and software belong to us.

If you believe a work infringes your rights, contact us with the details and we'll review it promptly.

Creators

Publishing on MonaShort requires an approved creator application and acceptance of the separate creator terms shown in the creator workspace. Creators are responsible for holding all the rights to what they upload.

Clip promotion: you agree that MonaShort and the promotion partners we choose may use the first few episodes of your work free of charge (generally no more than its free episodes), edit them into promotional clips (which may be cut, subtitled and dubbed) and post them on social platforms such as TikTok and YouTube to bring viewers to MonaShort to watch. The aim is to bring your work more viewers and earnings. Promotion costs you nothing, and your earnings are calculated under the revenue share rules the platform publishes. You warrant that the music, performers' likenesses and other material in your work may be used for this kind of promotion. You can contact us at any time to withdraw a work from promotion; after that no new promotion is arranged, and clips already published are taken down within 30 days.

Availability and changes

We work to keep MonaShort available, but we can't promise that it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in advance, for example by email or with a notice in the service. If you keep using MonaShort after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.

Liability

As far as the law allows, MonaShort is provided as is, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract, or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using MonaShort at any time and request account deletion in Account settings. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms; we'll tell you why unless the law or security reasons prevent it.
